If you're looking for creamy desserts that are also high in protein, you need to try this strawberry cheesecake yogurt bowl!
Made with creamy Greek yogurt, fresh strawberries (or frozen), and a sprinkling of graham crackers, this easy recipe is perfect for breakfast, dessert, or meal prep.

Why You'll Love It:
- Simple ingredients. You probably already have everything you need on hand for this easy recipe.
- High in protein. Have you ever wanted a delicious and creamy dessert that also packs 29 grams of protein? Well, you've found it!
- No cottage cheese. While I'm a cottage cheese lover, I know a lot of you are totally sick of cottage cheese being in EVERYTHING!
Ingredients
- Greek yogurt: We recommend plain Greek or Skyr yogurt. It's thick, creamy, and high in protein. If you use sweetened yogurt, just reduce the maple syrup (or leave it out).
- Pudding mix: This thickens the texture of the yogurt, making it slightly fluffy and similar to the consistency of no-bake cheesecake filling. We recommend the "cheesecake" flavor if you can find it, but if you can't, vanilla is perfectly fine!
- Protein powder (optional): For extra protein. We recommend stirring in 2-3 tablespoons of your favorite vanilla protein powder.
You will also need:
- Maple syrup (or sweetener of choice)
- Vanilla extract
- Strawberries (fresh, frozen, or fruit of choice)
- Graham cracker crumbs (for sprinkling).
How to Make a Greek Yogurt Cheesecake Bowl
If the top of your craving list includes no bake cheesecakes, you're going to love this version made with yogurt. It's the perfect sweet treat for hot summer days, and a protein-packed way to celebrate strawberry season. The best part? Everything is made in a single bowl, and no special tools (like a food processor) are needed.
- Add plain Greek yogurt to a bowl, along with maple syrup, vanilla extract, pudding mix, and protein powder.
- Whisk very well to incorporate all of the ingredients.
- Once the mixture is smooth and creamy, taste and adjust the sweetness as needed.
- Spread the cheesecake mixture into a shallow bowl, and top with sliced strawberries and a sprinkling of crushed graham crackers.
Now you're ready to serve!
Try This!
Make your own no bake strawberry cheesecake parfaits (or mini cheesecakes) by portioning each half of the recipe into mason jars or containers. Stash them in the fridge and you'll have the perfect treat for your after dinner sweet tooth.
Make Ahead and Meal Prep Options
- Assemble as many bowls as desired and place them in airtight storage containers.
- For the best results, leave the graham cracker crumbs off until you're ready to serve.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Place graham cracker crumbs in a small container or storage bag and bring them with you on the go.
- Cheesecake jars: Layer the cheesecake filling into glass jars, then top with sliced fresh berries. Add a sprinkling of graham cracker crumbs just before serving.
Dietary Swaps
- Low calorie: For those looking for a lower calorie option, use 0% Greek yogurt, fat-free sugar-free pudding mix, and your favorite sweetener in place of the maple syrup.
- Gluten free: Use gluten-free graham cracker crumbs (or crushed gluten-free graham crackers) in place of the regular type. Most pudding mixes are fine, but be sure to check the ingredients list to verify.
- Vegan/Dairy-free: Use your favorite coconut yogurt in place of the Greek yogurt, and use your favorite plant-based protein powder (or omit completely).
- Low carb: Use your favorite sweetener in place of the maple syrup, sugar-free pudding mix, and crushed low carb graham crackers instead of the conventional version used in the recipe (or leave them out completely).
Substitions
- Frozen fruit: This recipe can be made with frozen fruit for a more budget-friendly option! Either thaw it in advance, or warm it in a microwave in 15-second intervals until thawed.
- Maple syrup: If you don't have real maple syrup on hand, feel free to swap it out for honey or your favorite sweetener. If using sweetened yogurt, you can leave it out (or add to taste).
- Yogurt: Greek yogurt works the best for this because of it's thick consistency, but other thick yogurts like Skyr can be used. If you don't have Greek yogurt, try straining regular yogurt in cheesecloth until much of the whey drains off.
Flavor Variations
This recipe works with nearly any fruit you would use to make cheesecake, but it tends to taste best with berries. Here are a few suggestions!
- Blueberry
- Raspberry
- Blackberry
- Banana
- Cannoli (add mini chocolate chips and crushed waffle cone – yum!)
- Oreo

This is so good for an after dinner dessert, but it also makes an amazing sweet high protein breakfast. It really doesn't taste like it's high protein, but it definitely fills you up while crushing your craving for all the sweet treats. We love to use frozen berries for a budget-friendly option, and we switch up the type of fruit all of the time with good results.
