This easy Starbucks Copycat recipe is so delicious and SO fun to make! Instant Pot Passion Tea Lemonade is an absolute breeze when using our favorite appliance, and it's perfect for stocking your fridge with yummy beverages for the summer (or any time of year)!
Add 2 cups of cold water to the insert of a 6qt or 8qt Instant Pot.
Add the granulated white sugar and whisk to combine.
Place the lid on the Instant Pot, and move into the locking position. Toggle the valve to "sealing".
Set the Instant Pot to manual high pressure for 4 minutes, OR use your Yogurt "boil" setting.
Once the Instant Pot beeps to indicate the cook time is finished, carefully switch the valve to "venting." Do a full manual pressure release.
Once the pressure in the pot has dropped, the pin will drop and it will be safe to open the Instant Pot. Carefully turn and remove the lid.
Add the Passion Tea bags to the Instant Pot, and use a metal spoon to ensure they are submerged in the hot water and sugar mixture.
Steep for 15 minutes.
When the steeping time is up, remove the tea bags, squeezing to release any liquid. Discard or compost the tea bags.
Add the remaining (2 ¾ cup) cold water to the Instant Pot, and stir to combine. Test to see that the water is around room temperature. If it is not, allow it to cool until it reaches that point.
Add the strained lemon juice in and stir. Add in the vanilla extract and stir again.
Pour the tea into a glass pitcher or a half gallon sized jar. Place an airtight lid on the jar and chill in the fridge.
Once you're ready to serve, pour over ice and serve with lemon wedges if desired!
