Cheesy Hashbrown Casserole

This cheesy and savory recipe for "Funeral Potatoes" is the ultimate Thanksgiving side dish! A cheesy hashbrown casserole featuring a crunchy Corn Flake topping, and a creamy, cheesy sauce.

Make the creamy base

Combine cream of chicken soup, sour cream, melted butter, and seasonings in a large bowl.  Add in a generous amount of shredded cheddar cheese. 

Fold in the hashbrowns

Add the thawed hashbrowns to the creamy sauce, and fold them in until they are completely coated.

Fill the baking dish

Spread the hashbrown mixture in the bottom of a greased baking dish, spreading it into an even layer.

Make the topping

Combine crushed cornflakes with melted butter and stir until they are completely coated.

Add the Topping

Sprinkle the buttered Corn Flakes on top of the hashbrown layer.

Bake and Serve

Bake in a 350F oven for 40-50 minutes.  Cool for 5 minutes, then serve and enjoy!
