Crock Pot French Toast Casserole

This delicious Crock Pot French Toast Casserole is easy to make with simple ingredients and is perfect for special occasions like birthdays and holidays.  It comes together quickly and cooks for just a couple of hours, but best of all? It can be prepared the night before!

Let’s get started!

Add the bread cubes

Slice the bakery-style bread of your choice into large cubes, then add them to a greased slow cooker.

Make the custard mixture

To get started, add the eggs to a large bowl and whisk well to break the yolks.

Add the half and half, cinnamon, vanilla, and some brown sugar. Whisk to combine.

Soak the bread

Pour the custard mixture on top of the bread cubes, and allow it to soak for about 20 minutes.

Place the lid on the Crock Pot and cook on "high" for 2 hours, or on "low" for 4 hours.

Once the center is set, slice the French Toast Casserole into servings and carefully remove them from the crock.

Drizzle with syrup

Serve the French Toast Bake with your favorite toppings, including powdered sugar, maple syrup, fresh berries, etc.
